Terms & Conditions

1. About Us

This website, www.bettyboopfigure.co.uk, is operated by Romford Gifts Online.

By placing an order through our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. These Terms & Conditions do not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

We recommend that you read these Terms & Conditions carefully before placing an order.

2. Ordering

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the goods selected.

After placing your order, you will receive an acknowledgement confirming that we have received your order. This does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.

A contract between you and us is formed when we confirm that your order has been accepted and the goods have been dispatched, unless we notify you otherwise.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where there is a genuine reason to do so, for example where an item is unavailable, there is an obvious pricing or listing error, or we are unable to verify the order. If payment has already been taken, you will receive a full refund.

3. Customer Information

Please ensure that the information you provide when placing an order is complete and accurate, including your name, delivery address, telephone number and email address.

You are responsible for keeping your account login details secure and should notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed or used without your permission.

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

4. Prices

All prices shown on our website are in UK Pounds Sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable.

Delivery charges, where applicable, will be displayed before you complete your order.

We take care to ensure that prices and product information are accurate. If we discover an obvious error in the price of an item before your order has been accepted, we will contact you and give you the opportunity to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order.

If an obvious pricing error is discovered after payment has been taken and we are unable to agree a revised price with you, we will cancel the order and provide a full refund.

5. Product Information

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product descriptions, photographs and other information on our website are accurate.

Due to the nature of China, glass, ornaments and collectables, there may be minor variations in colour, finish, markings or appearance between photographs and the actual product.

Where appropriate, photographs may be used for illustration and may not show the exact individual item supplied. Any significant differences will be identified in the product description where reasonably possible.

Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights if goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to meet the requirements of UK consumer law.

6. Availability

All products are subject to availability.

We make reasonable efforts to keep our website stock information up to date. Occasionally, an item may become unavailable before we are able to update the website.

If we are unable to supply an item you have ordered, we will contact you. You will not be charged for unavailable goods and, where payment has already been taken, the appropriate amount will be refunded.

If delivery by a particular date is important to you, please contact us before placing your order so that we can confirm availability and the expected delivery date.

7. Delivery

Delivery arrangements and charges are set out in our Delivery & Returns Policy.

We aim to dispatch orders within the times stated on our website. Where no specific delivery period has been agreed, goods will normally be delivered without undue delay and, in any event, within the period required by applicable consumer law.

If there is an unexpected delay, we will contact you where appropriate.

Delivery dates may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including courier delays, severe weather or other events beyond our control.

8. Cancellation and Returns

When you purchase goods online as a consumer, you generally have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason, subject to certain legal exceptions.

Details of how to exercise this right, together with information about returns and refunds, are provided in our Delivery & Returns Policy.

Your statutory rights regarding faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods are not affected.

Where you exercise your statutory cancellation rights, refunds will be made in accordance with applicable UK law.

9. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

We take particular care when packing our products because many of them are fragile, valuable or collectable.

If goods arrive damaged, faulty, incorrect or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible.

Please retain the original packaging where possible, particularly in the case of transit damage, as this may be required when investigating a delivery claim.

We will deal with faulty, damaged or incorrect goods in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.

10. Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

In particular, nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights or our responsibility for goods that are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to meet the requirements of UK consumer law.

We are not responsible for losses that could not reasonably have been expected when the contract was made or for losses that arise from circumstances outside our reasonable control, subject always to your statutory rights.

11. Website Content

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information on our website is accurate and up to date. However, we cannot guarantee that the website will always be available or completely free from errors.

We may update, amend or remove website content where reasonably necessary.

12. Links to Other Websites

Our website may contain links to third-party websites.

These links are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of third-party websites.

13. Copyright

Unless otherwise stated, the text, photographs, graphics, logos and other content on this website belong to Romford Gifts Online or are used with permission.

You must not reproduce, copy, distribute or use website content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time, for example to reflect changes to our services or applicable law.

The Terms & Conditions applying to an order will be those in force when the order is placed. Changes made after an order has been placed will not retrospectively alter that contract unless required or permitted by law.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also have rights under the laws applicable in your country of residence.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
