About Us
A Family Business Since 1977
Welcome to Romford Gifts Online, a family business with a proud history spanning almost five decades.
Founded in 1977 in Romford, Essex, we traded for 45 years from the same retail shop, building our reputation through our passion for quality China, Glass and Collectables and, most importantly, the personal service we provided to our customers.
After 45 years at our Romford premises, our lease came to an end and, in May 2022, we sadly made the decision not to renew it and closed our retail shop.
Although our shop has closed, our family business continues online.
We have taken the same care and personal approach that served our customers in our shop and brought it to our online store. We remain committed to offering a wide selection of quality China, Glass & Collectables, at competitive prices, together with the friendly and personal service for which we have always been known.
Nearly 50 Years of Experience
Since 1977, we have handled delicate and often valuable products, giving us many years of experience in carefully preparing items for delivery.
Whether your purchase is travelling across the UK or overseas, we take great care to ensure that every order is checked and securely packed. Wherever possible, items are packed in their original box and then placed inside suitable protective outer packaging to help ensure they reach you safely.
Looking for Something Special?
If you are looking for a particular item that you cannot find in our online store, please contact us.
As a family business, we are happy to provide the same personal service that our customers received when visiting our shop. We will do our best to source the product you are looking for and, wherever possible, offer it at a competitive price.
Worldwide Shipping
We are pleased to offer worldwide shipping.
Because our products vary considerably in size and weight, international shipping costs can differ from one item to another. Rather than applying an inaccurate standard charge, please contact us with details of the products you are interested in and we will provide you with a shipping quotation.
Thank You for Supporting Our Family Business
For 45 years, we were fortunate to welcome generations of customers through the doors of our Romford shop. Many became regular customers and friends, and we are incredibly grateful for the support they have given our family business over the years.
Although we are now an online-only business, our commitment to personal service remains exactly the same.
We hope you enjoy browsing our products online as much as we enjoyed helping our customers in our shop.
